Smart City Forum is the response to the global transformation taking place in the field of construction and functioning of cities and towns that are becoming smart, notwithstanding their level of development. This transformation affects multiple aspects of life, from transport, through ecology, power engineering and construction, to development of new methods of communication with residents.
Smart City Forum, a platform for the discussion and collaboration of businesses with government and self-governmental administration, allows for the efficient exchange of opinions and experiences in the area of smart cities, concerning both Polish and European cities. The event is supervised by the Advisory Board under the co-chairmanship of Mr. Mariusz Gaca, Vice-President of the Board at Orange Poland, and Mr. Maciej Bluj, Deputy Mayor of the City of Wrocław, which is a guarantee of an efficient and beneficial discussion about investment implementation models, funding opportunities and the application of existing technologies.
The possibility to meet national decision-makers, representatives of government administration, well-known experts in industries such as development, healthcare, transport, power generation, education and public services makes the Smart City Forum the first initiative in Poland for smart cities on such a scale and oriented towards such issues.
