One of the objectives of Cities-4-People is enabling the replication of successful urban mobility interventions. We are of course happy if we can positively affect transport and mobility in one neighbourhood in each pilot area, but we would be even happier if we could inspire many more neighbourhoods to take up our solutions and apply them to solve local challenges or meet urgent needs.
Clearly, replication is easier said than done, since no size fits all. However, we are preparing some guidelines to help interested cities or communities identify key steps in implementing mobility solutions and in fostering co-creation. After the summer, you will find a first version of our Deployment Toolkit and Replication Guide on our website. This includes blueprints and lessons learnt and is meant to provide meaningful recommendations to other European cities, regional agencies and policy makers on how they could adopt POTM approaches and benefit from cities-4-People methodologies and tools.
An updated version of the Cities-4-People Deployment Toolkit and Replication Guide will be developed and published at the end of the project, in May 2020, to incorporate the evidence from the scale-up phase as well as feedback collected from various stakeholders.
