The Oxfordshire County Council did not organise one single co-creation workshop. OCC organised three:

    • Rose Hill on the 14th of December 2017 with 14 participants
    • Barton Neighbourhood Centre on the 9th of January 2018 with 14 participants
    • County Hall, Oxford on the 11th of January 2018 with 14 participants.

These three co-creation workshops followed up on the warm-up events held in 2017 and preceded a consultation workshop that is planned for February 2018. As in the case of the other pilot areas, the aim of the co-creation workshops was to involve the local community in the identification of the mobility challenges in their neighbourhood and, subsequently, in a first development of some ideas regarding the most urgent intervention areas in Oxfordshire.

As described before, the events aimed to gather information about mobility in the community and to ascertain the primary mobility challenges of the community. The structure of the events was similar with a quick presentation in the beginning to remind participants about the Cities-4-People project and then different co-creation activities were deployed to ensure the engagement of the stakeholders and positive outcomes.

All three events were successful in achieving the approach of identifying manageable challenges to work with in the future and deciding upon an intervention areas.
