Last summer each of our five pilot areas organised an Hack Day. What for? To involve the largest possible number of people in choosing their favourite mobility intervention, either commenting on and voting for existing ones or suggesting new ones. The idea behind the event was for each pilot to have, by the end of the day, a list with the top ten of possible mobility solutions to local urban challenges. This was one step of many in the process of co-creative ideation which started with the set up of the Citizen Mobility Communities and the launch of the Citizen Mobility Labs, continued with the Presentation Days and will further advance with an online voting period and a Quadruple Helix Stakeholder Meeting, which will lead from the top ten to a top five. Out of the five, three concepts will be selected to be prototyped and piloted in 2019.

Although some ideas recur and common patterns can be found between pilot areas (for example, making public spaces greener and more suitable to accommodate social encounters), the variety of concepts is considerable. Why not read more about each pilot? Do it here!
