During the ICT 2018 Conference: Imagine Digital – Connect Europe, which was organised in Vienna between 4 and 6 December 2018, we came across some projects that are relevant to sustainable mobility and citizen participation. Just before the Christmas break, we want to share their names with you. You might use the holiday time to find out more about them.
U_CODE Urban Collective Design Environment: A new tool for enabling expert planners to co-create and communicate with citizens in urban design. The project offers two tools that can be interesting for bridging co-creation, urban planning and digital technologies, namely: (1) Online design game gallery and (2) Virtual Reality Focus Group Gallery.
Transforming Transport. This project validates the potential of and feasibility for Big Data to reshape the transport industry (e.g. Smart Highways, Proactive Rail Infrastructures, Dynamic Supply Chains).
GameCar: Gamification of EcoDriving Behaviours through Intelligent Management of dynamic car and driver information. This project aims to develop a highly innovative and interactive Serious Games platform that will empower and guide users to adopt an eco-friendly driving style, without hindering safe driving.
Grow Smarter: Transforming cities for a smart and sustainable Europe. This project brings together cities and industry to integrate and test smart city solutions in energy, infrastructure and transport. Lighthouse cities have already applied a range of sustainable urban mobility solutions and can provide meaningful insights into what works and what does not based on this extensive experience.
