One year and a half went by and it is time to check where we stand. Six months ago, when you received our second newsletter, we were at a very different stage: we had defined our mobility challenges, we had the basis of our Citizen Mobility Communities and we had just launched our Citizen Mobility Labs. We had the problems and all the materials in place to find the solutions, but we did not have the solutions yet. Six months after, we have at least three core concepts for each pilot area that we can prototype and pilot to tackle local mobility challenges. Our communities have grown, and their ideas have multiplied. Several events have taken place in the Labs to engage citizens at large, public authorities, mobility providers and industry representatives, and to have them co-decide on the best solutions. Each location organised at least a Presentation Day, an Hack Day, and a Quadruple Helix Stakeholder meeting, about which you can read in this newsletter. At least? At least. Many other events, some more intimate, some bigger have been organised because we did not want any of you to get bored. We participated in the Altonale with fun games, we prepared the third edition of the Duma Part, we threw bingo evenings and lab nights, we attended conferences in the United Kingdom, in Italy, Spain, Germany, the Netherlands and more. And let’s not forget that we had a online vote with people commenting on their favourite (or not) ideas and ranking them by preference, feasibility and expected impact.

But the fun part starts now: after ideating, we have finally started prototyping what will be then tested in real-life contexts. One reason more to look out for 2019 – and to keep following us, of course!
