The Urban Mobility Days 2020 are taking place from 29th September to 2nd October. Due to the restrictions imposed by the COVID-19 pandemics, this year’s event will be held online to allow participants to join debates on the most important urban mobility topics from their homes.
The theme of the conference is „Zero Emission Mobility for All“. Under this motto, this year’s virtual conference combines two of the biggest events on transport in Europe into a single event: the CIVITAS Forum Conference and the European Conference on Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans (SUMPs). The 4 days event will bring together policymakers, local authorities, academics, NGOs, urban transport practitioners, urban planners and all those involved to share their experiences that will be able to interact using a virtual forum.
Cities-4-People, along with other projects revolving around neighbourhood and co-creation (Sunrise, Metamorphosis, Looper), will participate in the conference with a dedicated session: “Towards sustainable mobility – one neighbourhood at a time” (02/10, 11:30-13:00). During the session, the four coordinators will present the objectives and progress of each project. Thereafter, a set of “Big Messages” summarising the key lessons learned over the last years across the projects will be shared with the participants. These messages entail the core recommendations stemming from our experiences.
During the four days of the Urban Mobility Days, you will also have the opportunity to visit our virtual stand and to talk to our representatives.
